After a request from Dr. Elizabeth Keathley for help in creating an on-line survey for the FMT10 conference, I found the open source package LimeSurvey. We are currently planning to use it for Dr. Keathley’s work and if all goes well, it will be offered to the faculty in general. Please contact me if you are interested in using this package, and I will have a demo survey and copies of it results periodically available.

As promised in the clinic here are a number of downloads related to my improvisation clinic at the North Carolina Trombone Festival. Included below are PDF versions of the handout and leadsheets as well as SmartMusic versions and MP3s versions of the changes. Thanks to everyone who attended the clinic!

Basic Improvisation For Beginners PDF

Here is a handy website when you need to create a case for a CD or DVD when you do not have extra jewel cases. The case can be a little tricky to learn to fold, but it comes in very handy if you just want to burn a few files or audio clips to a CD for a student or faculty member.
