Teaching Stations

Curently there are plans to simplify the use of classroom teaching stations. I am working with TLC so that the only audio device faculty will have to change settings on is the amplifyer (which is similar to the ones currently in your offices). The stand alone CD player will have to be removed for this, however the DVD/VCR combine will play CDs and the computer is also available. I am also going to try and have software installed on the PCs to play DVDs from any region, so you will be able to use discs from Europe, Australia, and China.
Currently the plan is to have the amp set up in this configuration:
| SELECTION | DEVICE |
|---|---|
| CD | DVD/VCR |
| Tape 1 | Tape Player |
| Tape 2 | Computer |
| Aux | Laptop/iPod |
| Phono | LP Player |
With the removal of the stand alone CD player, I will be including on this website tutorials on preparing audio examples using either iTunes or Windows Media Player, and the Audacity audio editor.
